About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a civilian Part-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Dumfries Ambulatory Care Center in Prince William County, Virginia. This is an outpatient environment with a manageable patient load, offering a unique opportunity to experience military medicine and provide care for our nation's heroes and their dependents.
Requirements
- Board Certification
- 1 year of experience in Urgent Care as a PA
- 2 years of experience in Urgent Care as a NP
- Completion of an accredited advanced practice nursing or physician assistant program
- Licensed Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant in accordance with State Nursing Board rules and regulations. All state licenses accepted.
- DEA registration
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Responsibilities
- Provide urgent care to patients in an outpatient environment.
- Manage a patient load.
- Provide care for military personnel and their dependents.
