The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) at Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is a multidisciplinary team providing cutting-edge care for individuals experiencing mental health crises. The team consists of nurses, a prescriber, mental health clinicians, and case management staff who offer psychiatric care, psychotherapy, and social interventions in a five-day overnight unit. We are seeking PRN Nurse Practitioners (NP) to pick up PRN shifts. The CSU NP will perform medication evaluations, medication management, and psychiatric assessments for patients when the unit is full. This in-person, daytime position is supported by other prescribers, fostering a collaborative environment to find solutions for complex healthcare challenges at both individual and system levels. Salary for this role. The starting wage is based on years of licensure and company equity and paid bi-weekly. $58.94 - $75.07 per hour Availability. This PRN role requires availability to complete initial in‑person orientation and training during the scheduled onboarding week (Tuesday - Thursday), followed by training shifts within the first two months, scheduled based on operational needs. To remain active in PRN status, employees are expected to work at least two shifts per month, with each shift lasting a minimum of five (5) hours, unless otherwise approved.
