About The Position

As a senior member of the clinical team, the Nurse Practitioner provides direct psychiatric nurse practitioner care and medical treatment to members served. Telecare Yuma ACT is an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program for 50 adults, ages 18+, diagnosed with a serious mental illness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science and an advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program
  • Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice
  • Active DEA and Furnishing licenses
