Nurse Practitioner, Psych PMHNP Per Diem - Thurston Mason E&T
About The Position
As a senior member of the clinical team, the Nurse Practitioner provides direct psychiatric nurse practitioner care and medical treatment to members served. This is a per diem, as needed coverage position, operating Monday through Sunday. The Telecare Thurston Mason E&T is an acute 15-bed adult intensive treatment program providing services to individuals experiencing severe psychiatric symptoms who may benefit from more structured services, supports, and a secure setting. The program offers recovery-focused services and is designated as a facility providing both voluntary and involuntary psychiatric care. E&T residents are ages 18+ and stay on average 14 days.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science and an advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program
- Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice
- Active DEA and Furnishing licenses
