Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or related field
- Current NP or PA certification and state licensure
- Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in gastroenterology
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Must be board-certified
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Assist in diagnostic procedures and interpret results
- Provide patient education and support regarding gastrointestinal health
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
- Participate in case reviews and quality improvement initiatives
- Stay updated on advancements in gastroenterology practices and protocols
- Rounding and ED consults
