About The Position
MercyOne Waterloo Urgent Care is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to staff a busy urgent care clinic. This is a full-time position requiring experience in urgent care or emergency medicine. The clinic operates with extended hours, including weekdays, weekends, and varying holiday hours. MercyOne Medical Group - Northeast Iowa is an employed multi-specialty group with over 180 providers across northeast Iowa, serving a population of approximately 280,000 residents. The health system encompasses multiple facilities and primary care locations.
Requirements
- Urgent care or emergency experience required.
- Graduate of an AMA approved Nurse Practitioner Program or accredited Physician Assistant Training Program.
- Iowa licensure required.
- Possesses Federal and State Controlled Substance prescribing authority.
- Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber Certification.
- BLS certification.
- Mandatory Reporter certification.
