Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
About The Position
Recovia is a multidisciplinary team providing whole-person care for behavioral health, chronic pain, and substance use disorders. We combine medical, behavioral health, and physical therapy services to support sustainable recovery and better quality of life. We’re looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner (FNP/ANP) or Physician Assistant to join our medical team. This is a Monday–Friday, in-office position with no weekends, no call, and no overnights. New graduates are welcome as mentorship is provided. Ideal candidates are confident, adaptable, and team-oriented with a passion for patient care. Experience in addiction medicine, psychiatry, pain management, primary care, or behavioral health is a plus but not required.
Requirements
- Active Arizona NP or PA license
- DEA license
- Ability to work on-site in Estrella, Monday–Friday
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable in a collaborative, team-based setting
Nice To Haves
- Experience in addiction medicine, behavioral health, psychiatry, pain management, or primary care
- Familiarity with MAT/MOUD, including buprenorphine
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct medical evaluations and follow-up visits
- Create and manage individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage medications for addiction treatment and minor behavioral health needs
- Collaborate closely with behavioral health providers, physical therapists, and the rest of the clinical team
- Participate in multidisciplinary care coordination
- Make meaningful change in your patients’ lives
