About The Position

Salud Family Health is an FQHC / Community Health Center committed to providing a Medical Home to patients. Since 1970, we have integrated medical, dental, behavioral health services, and clinical pharmacists working together in a team-based system of care. We strive to improve the quality of life for patients who would otherwise have limited access to healthcare, serving all individuals regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. We are seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Sterling, CO. In this role, you will approach patient care in a team-based fashion, supporting patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change. You will perform routine clinic operations, take histories, and make physical assessments, adhering to the SALUD mission statement.

Requirements

Graduated or graduating from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Possess an unrestricted Physician Assistant license or Nurse Practitioner license in good standing in the State of Colorado
Sensitivity to low-income and ethnic minority communities is a must

Nice To Haves

The ability to speak Spanish is strongly preferred
3 years of experience in a clinical setting as a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant preferred
