Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Urgent Care PRN - New Albany, IN
About The Position

The APC functions autonomously and collaborates with other health professionals to provide high quality, cost effective care to patients, manages health care systems and influence health care decision-making through expert clinical reasoning, research, theory-based practice. The APC is responsible for providing direct patient care as part of the physician led team in accordance with State Law and approved Medical Staff privileges. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced provider seeking flexible PRN coverage within a collaborative urgent care team.
Requirements
- Open to Physician Assistants (PA) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN)
- Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, or related clinical experience required
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong procedural and patient assessment skills preferred
Responsibilities
- Coverage responsibilities for both the Charlestown Road and Highlander Point Urgent Care locations
- Opportunity to split shifts between both sites based on scheduling needs
- Treat patients of all ages, from pediatrics through geriatrics
- Provide direct patient care as part of the physician led team in accordance with State Law and approved Medical Staff privileges.
