About The Position

HealthCARE Express is looking for compassionate, confident Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants who thrive in a fast-paced urgent care environment. If you enjoy variety, caring for patients of all ages, and being part of a team that works hard while having fun, we'd love to meet you. We are currently hiring for part-time positions. Two years of experience in urgent care, family practice, or emergency medicine is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Obtaining patient histories and performing physical examinations
Ordering and interpreting laboratory testing as appropriate
Diagnosing illnesses and developing treatment plans
Prescribing medications and treatments according to current standards of care
Performing simple office procedures
Maintaining accurate and timely medical records
Following infection control and safety procedures, including proper handling of sharps and body fluids
Delivering care that reflects current medical best practices while creating a positive, customer-friendly patient experience
Supervising and mentoring medical staff with a focus on teaching, coaching, and professionalism when established protocols are not in place
Cross-training when needed
Occasionally assisting with responsibilities outside your normal scope of practice
Stepping in wherever you can to support the team
