About The Position
This flexible part-time opportunity is for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a clinical team for 1–2 days per week. The role is designed for individuals seeking to balance clinical impact with a schedule that respects their time, ideal for those studying, balancing family life, or supplementing income. The primary focus is on providing thorough evaluations for patients who have recently experienced a motor vehicle accident or a slip-and-fall injury. In addition to in-clinic shifts, there is potential to pick up telemedicine shifts specifically for preoperative clearances and follow-up physical evaluations. The position offers a low-stress, high-reward role in a structured, supportive professional environment.
Requirements
- Active NP or PA license in the state of Florida.
- Proficiency in performing and reading EKGs.
- Strong communication skills and a high level of empathy for patients in distress.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with our broader clinical and administrative teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations.
- Perform and interpret EKGs in-office.
- Complete preoperative clearances to ensure patients are ready for necessary procedures.
- Provide clear, clinical narratives regarding the patient's injury status and recovery plan.
- Serve as a supportive clinical lead for patients navigating the complexities of post-accident recovery.
