About The Position

This is a part-time on site position for a free-standing Medical Imaging facility. Main responsibility to ensure safety of patients while receiving contrast injections. Previous experience working in imaging/radiology is a plus. Will work under general guidance with some expectation of autonomy. Has excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail. Requirements

• Current NP Certification
• ACLS Certification
• BLS Certification

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in imaging/radiology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to various exam rooms.
• Starts IV lines when needed.
• Has direct oversight and supervision of contrast patients.
• Assures that all safety questions and measures have been taken.
• Ability to have clear and direct communication with Technologist and patients.
• Ability to recognize and react to potential contrast reactions.
• Provides guidance and support to team members to assure patient safety.
• Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to support the team.
