Industry Health Solutions provides a broad scope of services including pre-employment exams, injury prevention, wellness programs, medical treatment, testing surveillance programs, and case management. We are currently looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in our Occupational Medicine Health Unit in Coldwater, Michigan. You will be joining a team of physical therapists, athletic trainers, certified medical assistants, and case managers to provide a comprehensive team approach of care to our client company's employees.

Requirements

CRNP or PA-C license in good standing in the state of Michigan
Good orthopedic/musculoskeletal skills
Understanding of occupational medicine
Excellent and dynamic people skills
Good communication skills
Professional confidence
Independent thinker

Nice To Haves

Preferably at least two years' experience

Responsibilities

Conducting triage procedures for initial evaluations for musculoskeletal disorders and injuries such as sprains, strains, lacerations, and contusions
Safety surveillance procedures such as pulmonary function testing, hearing testing, eye exams, UDS testing, and DOT's
Joint injections
Suturing
Medical screening
Treatment planning
Completing clinical notes
Working closely with our Case Manager and worker's compensation case management team
Provide additional Primary Care related services from time to time.
