Surgical OR (Transplant)- Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant- Piedmont Atlanta
About The Position
Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the surgical service line team at our Piedmont Atlanta campus. In this role, you will perform first OR assist duties, assist in office procedures, and round on patients in the hospital. You will also assist in the management of post-operative and critically ill patients, evaluate post-operative patients in the office setting, and apply specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in the CVOR, ICU, CCU, and CVICU areas. This role contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting, and provides leadership to the organization.
Requirements
- Masters, Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
Responsibilities
- Perform first OR assist duties
- Assists in office procedures
- Rounding on patients in the hospital
