About The Position
Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our House team for overnight coverage (7p–7a). The provider will deliver high-quality inpatient care in collaboration with attending physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Licensed NP or PA in the State of New Jersey
- ACLS certification required (or eligible)
Nice To Haves
- Acute care or inpatient experience preferred
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
- Will consider Recent grad with ER experience
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations for acute care patients
- Assess, diagnose, and manage medical conditions in the inpatient setting
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Respond to changes in patient status and provide rapid clinical intervention
- Perform procedures within scope of practice and institutional guidelines
- Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary services
- Participate in admissions, cross-coverage, and patient management overnight
