We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing outpatient pain management practice in Glendale, Arizona. The provider will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients experiencing acute and chronic pain while collaborating closely with our physicians on comprehensive treatment plans. The ideal candidate has previous experience in pain management and is familiar with both conservative and interventional treatment approaches. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a high-quality practice focused on improving patient function and quality of life through evidence-based pain management.

Requirements

  • Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
  • Eligible for Arizona licensure (if relocating)
  • DEA license or ability to obtain
  • Minimum one year of pain management experience
  • Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with or knowledge of advanced pain management therapies including: Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS), Kyphoplasty, MILD Procedure, Intracept Procedure, Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS), Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), Other interventional pain management techniques
  • Familiarity with eClinicalWorks (eCW)
  • Experience working in a high-volume outpatient practice
  • Cover Letter and references are preferred but optional.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate new patient consultations
  • Conduct follow-up visits for established patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Manage chronic and acute pain conditions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing when appropriate
  • Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness
  • Educate patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and expectations
  • Coordinate care with referring providers and specialists
  • Document patient encounters using eClinicalWorks (eCW)
  • Collaborate with physicians regarding procedural planning and patient management
