Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, Outpatient Diabetes (Worcester/Leominster)
About The Position
UMass Memorial Health, the leading health and wellness partner for Central Massachusetts and the region’s largest healthcare system, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Division of Endocrinology at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Central Massachusetts. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing Endocrinology and Diabetes team within a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on outpatient diabetes care. The role involves clinical practice in an outpatient setting with 5 clinical days per week split between UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester and HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital in Leominster. The position offers comprehensive outpatient diabetes care as part of a multidisciplinary Endocrinology team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered management for patients with complex endocrine and metabolic conditions. The successful candidate will join a well-established and collegial team of 23 Faculty Members, 19 Advanced Practice Providers, 5 Fellows and 6 Certified Diabetes Care and Educational Specialists. The EMR system used is Epic. The compensation includes a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
- NP or PA certification.
- Massachusetts NP or PA license.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine.
- Experience managing patients with diabetes.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient diabetes care as part of a multidisciplinary Endocrinology team.
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered management for patients with complex endocrine and metabolic conditions.
- Work 5 clinical days per week split between UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester and HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital in Leominster.
