About The Position

We are looking for a part-time Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or a Certified Nurse Midwife at our El Cajon Health Center. Bring your passion for reproductive healthcare to life by providing high-quality exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counseling. You’ll also be a go-to medical resource, supporting and empowering both licensed and non-licensed team members. This is a part-time role, a 3-day work schedule, designed for licensed Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Certified Nurse Midwives licensed in the state of California. The schedule is based on a 2-week rotation: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Week 2: Monday, Thursday, Saturday.

Requirements

Hold an active California license as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or a Certified Nurse Midwife.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counseling.
Serve as a medical resource, supporting and empowering licensed and non-licensed team members.
Collaborate with other Healthcare providers, Physicians, and Management on patient care and clinical improvements.
Partner with a Case Management team for patient communication regarding lab results, referrals, and other aspects of patient care.
Gain new skills such as IUC retrievals, Nexplanon insertions, Cryotherapy, Bartholin Cyst I&D, and prescribe GAHT (Gender Affirming Hormone therapy).
Work in a supportive and professional nursing environment.
Pursue continuing education opportunities.
