About The Position

West Coast Wound & Skin Care / PATH is expanding its advanced clinical services and is seeking experienced, motivated Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join our growing mobile care team as PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Providers. This opportunity is ideal for a provider interested in delivering innovative, specialized treatments directly to patients in their homes and other approved care settings. The provider will perform PRP-related evaluations and treatments in accordance with established clinical protocols, applicable regulations, and the patient's individualized plan of care. Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
  • Current national certification appropriate to the provider's license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Knowledge of sterile technique, infection prevention, specimen handling, and procedural safety.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with the clinical team.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Professional, patient-centered approach with a commitment to quality care.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in wound care, regenerative medicine, orthopedics, dermatology, or other procedural specialties preferred.
  • Prior experience administering PRP injections or performing PRP procedures strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient evaluations to determine clinical appropriateness for PRP therapy.
  • Administer platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments within the provider's scope of practice, training, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Provide PRP treatments for appropriate clinical indications, including wound care and other approved therapeutic applications.
  • Travel to patient homes and other designated care settings throughout the assigned territory.
  • Review relevant medical history, medications, contraindications, and clinical documentation before treatment.
  • Obtain and document informed consent and educate patients and caregivers regarding the procedure, expected outcomes, risks, and post-treatment care.
  • Follow established protocols for specimen collection, processing, handling, preparation, and administration, as applicable to the treatment being performed.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records, including procedure notes and treatment outcomes.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and initiate appropriate follow-up or escalation when clinically indicated.
  • Collaborate with the clinical leadership team and other treating providers to coordinate patient care.
  • Follow all applicable infection prevention, patient safety, documentation, privacy, and quality assurance standards.
  • Maintain required licenses, certifications, training, and competency in PRP procedures.
