About The Position

Work Schedule: 60% FTE, Monday through Friday, day hours. Hours may vary based on operational needs. Be part of something remarkable. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant : Join a highly innovative neurosurgical care model focused on patients with congenital conditions transitioning from pediatrics to adulthood. Lead and coordinate care across the continuum, emphasizing continuity and multidisciplinary collaboration. Host independent clinics to address ambulatory care needs. Independently round on patients when hospitalized. This position offers extensive training alongside nationally recognized pediatric and adult neurosurgeons to foster deep expertise in congenital neurosurgical conditions across the lifespan. As a foundational member of this care model, you will assist in establishing best practices and shaping clinical workflows that will ultimately serve as a model for similar programs across the country.

Requirements

  • If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program.
  • If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program.
  • If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin.
  • If Nurse Practitioner: Active board certification as a NP in Acute Care only (Adult or Adult/Gerontology will be considered only if previous ICU experience).
  • If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin.
  • If Physician Assistant: Active PA board certification.
  • Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.

Responsibilities
