Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Internal Medicine
About The Position
UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their growing team. This position is within a well-established and growing primary care practice in Worcester, MA. The role offers the opportunity to have your own panel of patients and is supported by experienced practitioners. The practice aims for providers to spend the majority of their workday with patients, facilitated by resources such as scribes for documentation, dedicated office-based support staff, and specialized support from nurse case managers, social workers, and behavioral health specialists for high-risk patients. The team benefits from strong leadership and an extensive network of specialists, utilizing the EPIC EMR system.
Requirements
- A Masters degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Eligible or current Massachusetts license.
- National certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, as applicable).
- Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration.
- Federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care within a primary care setting.
- Manage a panel of patients.
- Utilize scribes for documentation.
- Collaborate with nurse case managers, social workers, and behavioral health support specialists to manage high-risk patients.
