Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work as a hospital provider on their General Pediatric unit at the King of Prussia Hospital. This role involves being a front-line provider for patients with medical needs, performing assessments, creating plans of care, ordering medication and diagnostic studies, interpreting results, and updating patients and families. The successful candidate will be the point person for all consults and an interdisciplinary team member for patients. In collaboration with an attending physician, the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be responsible for the direct care and follow-up of a patient population matching their delineation of privileges and skill set. The role encompasses clinical practice, consultation, professional development, education, and research, and includes off-shift responsibility with a rotation schedule that may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
