Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, Fellowship Program
About The Position
Launch your Advanced Practice Provider (APP) career with our 6-month paid fellowship (October 2026 – March 2027) at select Mass General Brigham primary care practices. This program is perfect for newly licensed NPs & PAs looking to bridge the gap between graduate education and clinical practice. The fellowship offers full-time, paid, and benefited positions as an APP Fellow with Mass General Brigham. Participants will receive hands-on primary care training with experienced physician and APP mentors, exposure to various specialties through shadowing (Women's Health, Cardiology, Orthopedics, and more!!), and interactive didactic sessions with supplemental online education. The program includes personalized feedback to maximize development, will allow participants to become credentialed and licensed to prescribe during the program, and will guide them into their ideal long-term job placement at Mass General Brigham. The goals of the program are to build skills, confidence, and competence through structured clinical training, mentorship, targeted education, and exposure to specialties, and to prepare and position newly licensed NPs and PAs for successful long-term careers at Mass General Brigham.

- Master's Degree Nursing required
- Licensed NP
- Nurse Practitioner [NP] / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse [APRN] [State License] - Generic - HR Only required

Responsibilities
- Completes clinical rotations in hospital.
- Functions as an NP in department of rotations.
- Provides patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Writes prescriptions following hospital guidelines.
