About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician-led, multispecialty group with over 650 providers. They are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to work full-time at their Baker City location. The SAMG Baker Clinic focuses on providing comprehensive family medicine services, including care for patients with pulmonary, diabetic, and arthritic/autoimmune conditions. The role requires a commitment to a multidisciplinary team approach and cooperative work with colleagues and other healthcare professionals. Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Baker City supports the clinic with a 24/7 Emergency Department, daily anesthesia support, and full ancillary services. The Family Medicine practice currently includes one physician and three Advanced Practice Providers, with plans to recruit additional surgeons. Other specialties are regularly available.

Requirements

Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Oregon medical license to practice medicine in all its phases.
Valid controlled substance registration with Oregon Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
A strong medical background.
A desire to provide care to a growing multi-specialty medical group.

Responsibilities

Provide services for a full spectrum of family medicine patients, including those with pulmonary, diabetic and arthritic/autoimmune conditions.
Demonstrate a commitment to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care.
Work cooperatively with associates, providers and other team members.
