About The Position

Pediatric Specialty Care (PSC) is seeking Nurse Practitioners (CRNPs) to join their team. Requirements

Current and unrestricted Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) licensure in Pennsylvania
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current national Nurse Practitioner certification through an approved certifying organization
Current prescriptive authority and ability to prescribe within the scope of Pennsylvania regulations
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to successfully complete all required background checks, health screenings, clearances, and other regulatory compliance requirements

Nice To Haves

Pediatric, complex-care, long-term care, acute-care, or medically fragile patient experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive and focused physical assessments
Evaluate changes in residents' clinical conditions and determine appropriate interventions
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions within the scope of practice
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
Order, review, and interpret appropriate diagnostic and laboratory testing
Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with licensure and facility protocols
Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, respiratory therapy, rehabilitation, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
Communicate effectively with residents' families and caregivers regarding clinical status and plans of care
Participate in care planning, clinical rounds, and quality improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff as appropriate
Respond effectively to changes in condition and other complex clinical situations
