About The Position

We are seeking a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Bryn Mawr Hospital. In this role, you will utilize your advanced nursing degree to enhance quality patient care and improve communication between physicians, families, and the healthcare team. You will perform medical diagnoses and prescribe therapeutic measures in collaboration with attending physicians and residents. This position is key in leading quality and evidence-based care initiatives to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program required.
• MSN Required.
• Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
• Require ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years Nurse Practitioner experience preferred in Palliative Care.
• Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in Palliative Care preferred.
• May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support).

Responsibilities

• Perform acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures in collaboration with attending physicians and residents.
• Enhance quality patient care.
• Amplify communication between the physician, family members, and the health care team.
• Lead quality and evidence-based care initiatives to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
