About The Position
BAART Treatment Centers is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate in Ogden, Utah. The role supports adults receiving medically supervised treatment for opioid use disorder, including methadone and buprenorphine treatment. BAART provides individualized care integrating pharmacotherapy, clinical counseling, recovery support, and medical services in an outpatient clinic setting. Requirements
- Must be licensed in the State of Utah.
- Must satisfactorily complete a drug screen and background check.
Responsibilities
- Assist with admitting patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment.
- Obtain patient histories and perform physical examinations.
- Document care in the EMR and enter methadone dosing orders in the EMR or write buprenorphine prescriptions.
- Authorize and supervise medical staff dispensing daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medication when the Medical Director is absent.
- Monitor patient dosages in coordination with the Program Physician or Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, counselors, and dosing nurses.
- Perform other related duties as determined by the supervisor.
