About The Position

Senior PsychCare (SPC) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their collaborative, mission-driven mental health team. This role involves providing behavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities and State Veteran Homes. SPC focuses on continuity of care, ensuring patients receive comprehensive and compassionate services. The position offers a supportive, team-based environment with flexibility and clinical support from industry-recognized psychiatrists.

Requirements

• Licensed NP or PA in the state of Oklahoma
• Psychiatric/mental health experience required
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable traveling locally
• Adaptive, flexible, and committed to team-based care

Nice To Haves

• Experience with geriatric populations strongly preferred
• Spanish bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct cognitive and emotional assessments to set/manage treatment plans
• Manage psychotropic medication and gradual dose reductions
• Collaborate with nursing home staff and SPC’s behavioral health team
• Participate in treatment team meetings (in-person and virtual)
• Deliver care both in-person and via telehealth when appropriate
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our EHR system
