About The Position

Centurion is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team for one 4-hour shift per week at Nampa Community Reentry Center in Nampa, Idaho. The role involves working under physician supervision in a correctional environment, delivering healthcare, managing patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, performing assessments, diagnosing patients, and managing medications.

Requirements

• Maintains nurse practitioner or physician assistant license, registration or certification to practice medicine with physician supervision in jurisdiction.
• Must have and maintain an active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate.
• Maintains written collaborative practice agreement if required by state licensure.
• Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
• Minimum of one-year experience working in an adult primary care or urgent care practice.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a correctional or institutional setting preferred.
• Wednesday availability needed.
