About The Position

CentraCare Urgent Care is opening a secondary location at its River Campus, offering a fast-paced and exciting environment for applying advanced assessment and physical examination skills. This new location will provide high-quality, patient-centered care for a broad range of illnesses and injuries, utilizing advanced medical technology and on-site lab and imaging capabilities. The clinic is connected to the St. Cloud Hospital for seamless escalation of care if needed. While the primary work location is River Campus, shifts at the Plaza Location may be available, with a short drive between the two facilities.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Eligibility for Minnesota licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card.
Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number prior to receiving clinical privileges.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Emergency Department as a Provider or RN.
Experience in Urgent Care as a Provider or RN.
Experience in Family Medicine/Walk-In Clinic as a Provider or RN.

Responsibilities

Apply advanced assessment and physical examination skills.
Treat a broad range of illnesses and injuries, including acute injuries (fractures, sprains, strains, dislocations, minor motor-vehicle injuries), lacerations requiring sutures or wound care, abdominal and joint pain, headaches and migraines, respiratory concerns (asthma, cough, cold symptoms, fever), dehydration, nausea, vomiting, eye injuries, nosebleeds, minor chest pain without cardiac history, and blood clots or leg pain.
Provide pediatric urgent care.
Deliver seamless continuum of care.
Work shifts at CentraCare River Campus and potentially at the Plaza Location.
