About The Position

QuadMed is looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team in the Hampton City School District clinic in Hampton, VA. This role is part of a team that is redefining healthcare, focusing on quality of care rather than productivity. The position offers an outpatient-only practice with a preventative medicine focus, emphasizing work-life balance and a realistic patient panel size. The role utilizes the Epic EMR system and aims to make a difference in the lives of patients who are encouraged to be engaged and responsible for their own care, within a collegial environment.

Requirements

• Completed master's degree level Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program from an accredited college/university
• Minimum three (3) years primary care practice experience
• Active and unrestricted applicable licensure
• Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire
• NPI & DEA
• Current National Board Certification

Responsibilities

• Work independently
• Work with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner Certification, depending on job responsibilities or location
