General Surgery – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – St. Cloud, MN
About The Position
As an Advanced Practice Provider with the General Surgery team, your practice includes, but is not limited to: Comprehensive health care assessment, diagnosis, initiation of appropriate care and treatment Continuous outcome monitoring of the general surgery patient population. Follow established protocols and collaborate with physicians Work independently in health care decisions. Establish a philosophy of patient and family-centered care in all patient care practices Primary focus of this role will be inpatient care with limited OR expectations
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Eligibility for Minnesota licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- CPR certification is required
- Must be able to treat all ages
Nice To Haves
- Surgical experience preferred
- Previous experience as an Advanced Practice Provider is preferred but not required
