Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Richmond Heights/Clayton - Part Time!
About The Position
Esse Health is seeking a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join their Southside Family Practice. This part-time opening offers the opportunity to focus on delivering high-quality care in a supportive, physician-led environment. The role involves providing comprehensive primary care services to adult patients, including evaluations, physical exams, diagnostic assessments, and managing acute and chronic conditions. Emphasis is placed on preventive care, wellness, and patient education. The provider will document care in the electronic health record (NextGen) and coordinate with specialists. Participation in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives is also expected.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing or Physician Assistant-Master’s Degree
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in Missouri (or eligibility)
- Certified Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians
Nice To Haves
- 1 - 2 years + of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience
- Experience working with a geriatric patient population
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients
- Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physician partner
- Emphasize preventive care, wellness, and patient education
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (NextGen)
- Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the healthcare team
- Participate in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives
- Share in call with the Providers in the office - typically one night per week and about every sixth weekend.
