About The Position
Join Froedtert & MCW Health Network as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the Froedtert Workplace Clinics at the Milwaukee Courthouse. This role is part of a collegial, collaborative, and consultative practice with exceptional support staff. The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin regional health network is a partnership focused on patient care, innovation, medical research, and education. This network operates eastern Wisconsin's only academic medical center and adult Level I Trauma center, engaging in numerous clinical trials and studies. The position offers autonomy with the support of a large hospital system and an academic affiliation with the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Requirements
- For Nurse Practitioners: A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred.
- For Nurse Practitioners: A master’s degree in nursing is required.
- For Nurse Practitioners: Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner program is required.
- For Nurse Practitioners: Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
- For Nurse Practitioners: Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing is required.
- For Nurse Practitioners: Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) is required.
- For Nurse Practitioners: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required upon hire.
- For Nurse Practitioners: Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration are required or must be eligible to obtain.
- For Physician Assistant: Bachelor's degree in physician assistant studies is required.
- For Physician Assistant: Current State certification as a PA; current DEA.
- For Physician Assistant: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required upon hire.
- For Physician Assistant: Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration are required or must be eligible to obtain.
