About The Position

This full-time position involves assessing patients in clinic and other outside facilities contracted with SMG/SRH. The role requires completing medical histories and physical examinations to appropriately provide care to patients in accordance with the medical plan of care and within the practitioner's scope of practice. Key responsibilities include accurately charting history and care plans in the electronic medical record (EMR), ensuring encounters are closed within the time guidelines set forth by Self Medical Group and Self Regional Healthcare Administration. The practitioner will also be responsible for completing all EMR generated tasks and assisting the care team in achieving Meaningful Use measures. Additionally, the role entails performing all other assigned duties as directed by SMG Physicians, Practice Manager, and Self Medical Group Administration.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Ability to assess patients and complete medical histories and physical examinations.
• Proficiency in charting history and care plans in electronic medical record (EMR).
• Ability to close EMR encounters within specified time guidelines.
• Ability to complete EMR generated tasks.
• Ability to assist care team in achieving Meaningful Use measures.
