Urgent Care – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – St. Cloud, Minnesota
About The Position
CentraCare Urgent Care is opening a secondary location at their River Campus, offering a fast-paced, exciting environment to apply advanced assessment and physical examination skills. This new location will provide the same high-quality, patient-centered care as the existing Plaza location, treating a broad range of illnesses and injuries that might otherwise require an ER visit. The clinic is equipped with advanced medical technology, on-site lab and imaging capabilities, and is connected to the St. Cloud Hospital for seamless escalation of care. The primary work location will be at River Campus, with potential shifts available at the Plaza Location (approximately a 10-minute drive apart). Common conditions treated include acute injuries, lacerations, abdominal and joint pain, headaches, respiratory concerns, dehydration, nausea, vomiting, eye injuries, nosebleeds, minor chest pain without cardiac history, blood clots, leg pain, and pediatric illnesses and injuries.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Eligibility for Minnesota licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card.
- Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number prior to receiving clinical privileges.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Emergency Department as a Provider or RN.
- Experience in Urgent Care as a Provider or RN.
- Experience in Family Medicine/Walk-In Clinic as a Provider or RN.
