About The Position

Cardiovascular Medicine (CVM) is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiology team in Davenport, Iowa. This is a clinic-only cardiology opportunity offering a predictable Monday–Friday schedule with no hospital rounding, no call responsibilities, no weekends, and no holiday coverage. Providers work alongside a collaborative team of cardiologists and APPs while caring for a diverse cardiovascular patient population within one of the Midwest's most established cardiovascular practices. Requirements

Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active Iowa license or ability to obtain prior to start
Strong interest in cardiovascular medicine
Organized, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

Cardiology or outpatient clinical experience preferred but not required
New Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant graduates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient setting
Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and ongoing disease management
Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including EKGs, laboratory studies, imaging, and stress testing
Collaborate with cardiologists and the broader care team to develop treatment plans
Educate patients on diagnoses, medications, lifestyle modifications, and cardiovascular risk reduction
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
