Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Orthopedic Surgery (Roseville, CA)
About The Position
Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its collaborative Orthopedic Surgery team serving the Roseville market. The position supports both clinic and operating room functions, with an estimated work distribution of 50% clinic and 50% OR assistance. The role offers broad orthopedic exposure and team-based practice. Clinic volume is approximately 18–20 patients on a full day and 10–12 on a half day. The patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics. The specialty scope includes general orthopedics, sports medicine, joint care, hand surgery, and trauma exposure related to physician call responsibilities. APCs are not required to take ER call. Optional paid hourly weekend opportunities are available for inpatient support and are compensated above base salary. The team uses Epic electronic health records, and robotic-assisted surgery is planned for future implementation. Sutter Medical Group is a multi-specialty medical group with more than 1,600 clinicians practicing in seven Northern California counties. Its clinicians are also involved in teaching, research, leadership, community outreach, and volunteer work.
Requirements
- Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- At least one year of clinical experience.
- Comfort with inpatient rounding, OR assistance, and clinic-based care.

- Background in emergency medicine, inpatient medicine, or surgical care.
- Experience or interest in general orthopedics, sports medicine, joint care, hand surgery, or trauma.
Responsibilities
