About The Position

A growing kidney care practice in Fall River is seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join its collaborative clinical team. This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly impactful role within a well established nephrology practice that is positioned for continued growth and expansion in the local community. The practice is part of a nationwide provider focused network that prioritizes clinical excellence, collaboration, and exceptional patient care. Experienced APP candidates are strongly preferred, though motivated clinicians with a strong interest in nephrology are encouraged to apply. You will split your time between outpatient clinic care and dialysis rounding while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams. The role offers a dynamic schedule, meaningful patient relationships, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on patients managing complex chronic conditions.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Active or eligible Massachusetts licensure
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in nephrology, dialysis, acute care, or internal medicine is highly valued
  • Rhode Island licensure is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Dialysis rounding in outpatient dialysis centers
  • Chronic kidney disease management in clinic settings
  • Collaborating with physicians to co manage patient care
  • Developing treatment plans and educating patients and families
  • Managing ESRD related complications including hypertension, anemia, electrolyte imbalances, and vascular access concerns
  • Ordering and interpreting labs and diagnostic studies
  • Coordinating care across multiple healthcare settings
