About The Position

Oscar Medical Group is seeking a Bilingual Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Virtual Urgent Care team. The company aims to refactor healthcare by helping members achieve their health goals in a personalized way, and is looking for innovative leaders to drive this mission. This role involves providing telemedicine services, exploring new ways to deliver virtual care, and delivering patient care via Oscar's platform through messaging and phone. The provider will have the opportunity to reimagine how members are diagnosed, treated, and followed up with virtually. This is a remote, 1099 role requiring a minimum of 16 hours per week, reporting to the Medical Director of Virtual Urgent Care. Shifts are between 7a-5p Eastern time with occasional weekend commitments. Oscar Medical Group fosters a connected work culture, and while daily work is from a home office, occasional travel for team meetings and company events may be required.

Requirements

PA from accredited program
Board Certification (ANCC)
Bilingual (Spanish - read, write, and speak)
Licensed in at least 3 out of the 5 following states: FL, TX, OH, NJ, GA.
Willingness to be licensed in additional states with our assistance, working with our licensing vendor
3+ years experience in urgent care, ER or outpatient family medicine practice
2+ years of telehealth experience

Responsibilities

Provide medical care virtually (both by phone and message)
Provide patient care in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices and policies
Focus on efficiency and quality of care delivery
Ensure patient access to VUC services
Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines (e.g. primary care and health assessments)
