About The Position
Hartford HealthCare's Hartford Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join a very enthusiastic team in the MediQuick – Urgent Care unit. The successful candidate is responsible for the assessment, examination, and therapeutic intervention of all patients who present to MediQuick. APPs will work in collaboration with a number of credentialed physicians. The role involves effectively addressing Urgent/Emergent Medical conditions in all patients and interacting effectively with all members of the medical staff. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant in the state of Connecticut.
- Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse through AACN or ANCC.
- AGACNP Board Certification as an acute care nurse practitioner and / or critical care AP experience.
Nice To Haves
- Urgent Care / Emergency Medicine Experience preferred.
