This is a 0.6 FTE position in Urgent Care for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The position requires adherence to professional and ethical conduct, cultural sensitivity, autonomous and collaborative work, excellent communication skills, time management, adaptability, proficiency in electronic medical records, and the ability to teach and counsel patients. Responsibilities include maintaining patient confidentiality, obtaining health histories, diagnosing and managing conditions, providing patient education, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention, performing procedures, ordering and interpreting tests, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and consulting with other healthcare professionals. Participation in committees, healthcare forums, and research is also expected, along with other assigned duties.
