About The Position

Make a difference by providing comprehensive, same-day care to diverse and underserved patients who are not able to get a same-day appointment with their primary care provider. Duties also include covering the desktop/inbox for other providers while they are out of the office. Our medical clinics provide primary & preventive health care to people of all ages. Requirements

  • Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program eligible for Washington State licensure
  • Be in good standing with the board of licensing in the state(s) where licensed
  • Certified in Family Practice through the AANP or ANCC for NPs or certified by the NCCPA for PAs

Nice To Haves

  • Family Practice experience performing the full scope of adult and pediatric care (including newborns) in an outpatient setting that included same-day appointments
  • Experience in a community health center setting or similar role providing care to underserved populations
  • Experience working as an independent practitioner with patients who have complex co-morbidities including hypertension, diabetes, mental illness, chronic pain, and substance abuse
  • Experience with women's health
  • Experience working with individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds and socio-economic levels, treating them with sensitivity and respect
  • Proficient with Electronic Medical Records, preferably Epic
