About The Position
Gould Medical Group is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Behavioral Health department in Stockton, CA. This role offers significant autonomy, allowing practitioners to set their own work hours, schedules, treatment modalities, treatment lengths, and patient populations. The department is comprised of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Advanced Practicing Clinicians. The position involves medication management and follow-up for all age ranges, with a requirement for geriatric care. Some telework is available onsite. The call schedule is one week in sixteen, phone only. The role features low paperwork demands, focusing only on progress notes and intakes, with no annuals or clinical updates required. There is no inpatient work involved. The group is stable and growing.
