About The Position

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant or a Certified Nurse Midwife at our Coachella Health Center. As a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant or a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will play a critical role in providing quality healthcare to a diverse patient population. This will include exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counselling for patients in accordance with Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest protocols. Please note: This position follows a non-traditional schedule. The role requires working 3 days (10 hour shifts) one week; 4 days (10 hour shifts) the following week, totaling 7 working days in a pay period. Also, the schedule requires every other Saturday. The workweek alternates as follows: Week A: Four workdays (Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday). Week B: Three workdays (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday). This rotating schedule offers a consistent weekly rhythm while providing extended time off every other week. This role is considered Full-Time/Fully-Benefited and is designed for Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, or a Certified Nurse Midwife licensed in the state of California. In this role, you’ll get to: Change lives. Collaborate with other Healthcare providers, Physicians, and Management on patient care and clinical improvements. Partner with a Case Management team, which will communicate with patients on lab results, referrals, and other aspects of patient care. Gain new skills such as IUC retrievals, Nexplanon insertions, Cryotherapy, Bartholin Cyst I&D, and prescribe GAHT (Gender Affirming Hormone therapy). Requirements

  • Hold an active California license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, or a Certified Nurse Midwife.
  • Are eager to work in an environment that supports the agency’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

  • Demonstrate compassion in providing patient care and supporting staff.
  • Are willing to jump in to help with coverage if need be.
