Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant I - POE Clinic
About The Position
The Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant performs a variety of tasks in any authorized setting, including clinics, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, nursing homes, or the patient's home. This role involves obtaining patient history, performing physical examinations, ordering and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, formulating diagnostic impressions, and developing and implementing treatment plans. The position also includes monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, offering counseling and education, making appropriate referrals, prescribing and dispensing prescription medication, and assisting in surgery. Additionally, the role requires performing minor and surgical procedures and demonstrating the ability to assess and interpret patient data relative to age-specific needs.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of practice.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- DEA registration.
- Experience in a clinical setting.

- Advanced certifications relevant to practice area.
