Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Cardiology Brighton CO
About The Position
Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Cardiology Clinic at Platte Valley Hospital. The selected candidate will partner with 4 general and interventional cardiologists and 3 APPs to help deliver exceptional care to cardiology patients in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. You would practice at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton, CO. You would work 4 ten hour shifts on Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri. No call or weekends. Work with an experienced staff of general and interventional cardiologists. Inpatient rounding and clinic work split about 50/50.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, required
- Valid license/certification as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Colorado or able to obtain, required
- DEA and full prescriptive authority, required
- BLS and ACLS, required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an NP or PA working in an inpatient or outpatient cardiology setting, required
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care to cardiology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Partner with general and interventional cardiologists and other APPs.
- Perform inpatient rounding.
- Conduct clinic work.
