About The Position

Prairie Band Health Services is in need of a Nurse Practitioner to provide services at Ute Health Center (UMUHC) in Towaoc, Colorado. Requirements

• Active, Unrestricted Medical License: Must hold a current and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
• Certifications: Must have current certifications in: Basic life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
• Minimum Experience: 3 years of experience in diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of adult and pediatric conditions
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily within the United States.
• Federal Security Clearance: Must be willing and able to complete and pass the federal security clearance process.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of medical services including evaluation, diagnosis, consultation & referral, specialty referrals for outpatients of all ages.
• Serve on the Patient Centered Medical Home team.
• Makes referral recommendations to the Clinical Director as required ensuring appropriate specialty care, follow-up, continuity of care and ensuring appropriate forms are completed.
• Participates in treatment planning with the medical department and for individual patients.
