About The Position
Provide exceptional patient care as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Shortsville, NY under the supervision of the Medical Director. This role involves providing consistent, high-quality care aligned with national and community standards, collaborating with office staff for efficient practices, and liaising with practice management and hospital administration. The Nurse Practitioner will foster a cohesive Thompson identity through CARES values (Commitment, Action, Respect, Excellence, Service), ensure regulatory compliance, and align practice goals with health system goals by providing patient management and role modeling. The position requires acting in the best interest of the patient and assisting the health system in meeting strategic goals.
Requirements
- NYS certification/registration as a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner
- AANP Board Certification
- DEA license required
- Able to gain appropriate FFTH privileges
- Previous experience as a family nurse practitioner in a family practice.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of ICD10 coding preferred
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 Coding
