About The Position
Southwest Neuroscience & Spine is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) with First Assist experience or a Physician Assistant. This role involves all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations in an office setting. The position also includes working as a first assist in the operating room on occasion.
Requirements
- Current licensure in the State of Texas
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Organization ability
- Time management and ability to prioritize work
- Ability to exercise prudent and independent judgment, relative decision making with a high degree of accountability
Nice To Haves
- Five years’ experience as a practicing mid-level provider preferred
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, high customer volume work environment highly desirable
- If nurse practitioner, first assist certification is preferred
Responsibilities
- All aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations in office
- Working as first assist in the OR on occasion
